Vintage 1960s Moroccan Caftan Dress Robe Woven Silk Brocade Size Small Silk Both apprenticed at Parisian design Both apprenticed at Parisian design houses during the '60s and decided to open a couture business in Montreal at a time when pret a porter was cutting deeply into couture but this was made by a very good private couturier seamstress as the dress is expertly made and hand finished But I certainly can say that it is an older example from the materials used and the hand finishing (see last close up photo) stains or odors this caftan looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years
